Family in Madison is seeking a full-time nanny and household helper for their 2-month-old newborn son. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 4:00/5:00 pm.
Duties include:
Primarily taking care of the infant. While the primary duty is caring for the infant, there is a lot of down time throughout the day; the family is seeking someone who is able to help with light housekeeping such as doing the family’s laundry, cleaning dishes, tidying the house, and preparing basic snacks. A plus would be helping with light meal preparation for the family, but this is not a requirement. Family has one Dachshund-Chihuahua mix, but no pet care is required.
Ideal nanny:
Family is looking for a wonderful caregiver who will be a partner in the home. This family’s ideal nanny is friendly and open to the parents’ thoughts on child rearing, even if they differ from past experiences. They are experienced with sleep training and can help create structure for the infant. They are flexible with scheduling, e.g., shifting the hours later to accommodate a dinner or slightly increasing hours if needed. Willingness to babysit on weekends and being open to travel are a plus, but not required.

This 2-month-old is relaxed, happy, curious, and hungry! These parents are friendly and accepting of different personalities. They are busy but strive to maximize time with their son. Both parents are Covid-19 vaccinated.
