Family in Far Hills is looking for a professional part-time, live-out, weekend nanny for their two-year-old daughter. The schedule will be flexible and could vary from weekend to weekend. This family is hoping to grow in the future. Willingness to do overnight care once every few months would be a benefit.
Duties include:
Caring for the two-year-old child while creating a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment. Creating educational activities and reading to the child. Playing outside and taking the child on playdates or special outings (like a park or the zoo). Preparing meals for the child. Implementing and maintaining consistent daily routines, including naps, meals, and activities. Cleaning up after the child, including organizing and maintaining the child’s playroom and bedroom. Maintaining a tidy kitchen by loading and unloading the dishwasher and emptying the trash and recycling. Completing the child’s laundry. No pet care required.
Ideal nanny:
The ideal caregiver for this family is caring, active, and organized. They have excellent communication skills, experience with newborns, and are confident in their ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently. They love playing outdoors with the child, as well as reading and doing crafts with the child inside. They must be able to swim.
About the child:
This two-year-old is active, smart, intuitive, and sensitive. She can communicate clearly and has a large vocabulary. She loves animals and rides horses two to three days a week with mom. During the week, she goes to gymnastics, and she likes to visit local farms and playgrounds. She likes reading, story time at the library, and going on playdates.
About the parents:
These parents are organized, caring, and loving. They have an active, social lifestyle and are routine-oriented. They want their child to be engaged and learning during the day. They never yell and utilize gentle parenting while still enforcing manners, rules, and boundaries. They are planning to expand their family soon.
Benefits:
