Family in Short Hills is seeking a nanny for their two young boys. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 7/7:30 pm. The family can be flexible with hours depending on their weekly schedules.
Duties include:
All meal preparation for the children, including lunch and snack preparation for school. Duties will also include the children’s laundry, basic tidying up after the children, as well as making appointments for the children when necessary. The parents will also request occasional help with household errands (picking up dry cleaning, meeting repairmen, grocery shopping, going to the post office) when time allows.

Ideal nanny for this family is fun, supportive, patient, and empathetic. It is important to the family that their nanny is proactive and ready for a challenge. Above all, the nanny should be warm and open-minded with the children. The parents emphasize positivity and the need for space when there is conflict. They hope to find a nanny willing to work with them closely to solve any behavioral issues. Experience with special needs and/or child development/education is a plus but not required.

This 3-year-old is talkative, creative, and warm. He loves to play superheroes and to be outside. This 6-year-old is smart, funny, creative, and sensitive. He suffers from anxiety and can act out at times. He needs a supportive and loving hand to get him through his more difficult moments. He loves arts and crafts, Nintendo, and being outside. Parents are fun-loving, family-oriented, and hard working. They are open, honest, positive, and like to communicate to find solutions. They value these same qualities in a caregiver.
