Family in Scotch Plains is looking for a part-time nanny for their 3-year-old twins. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 1:30 pm - 6:00 pm. Looking for a long-term nanny. Summer hours may vary but will be salaried.
Ideal nanny:
Parents are looking for an energetic, outgoing, caring nanny who will engage the children (play catch, go on walks, push them on swings, etc.) and make them feel loved. Ideal caregiver is fluent in English and is Covid-9 vaccinated. They are creative and will come up with their own activities (art projects, games, etc.) while also teaching the children basics (alphabet, numbers, etc.). Twins are quick on their feet, so Caregiver needs to be able to keep up with them. Caregiver must be a driver and also very reliable. Experience with multiples a plus, but not required.
Duties include:
Duties include picking the children up from school at 2:15 pm every day and taking them to gymnastics on Thursdays and soccer on Fridays. Children's laundry and cleaning up after the children (dishes). Preparing children’s lunch and dinner, to occasionally be shared by parents! Engaging the children in fun and educational activities. No pet care or errands required.
About the family:
The parents are welcoming, happy, energetic, loving, warm, and fun. Both parents are Covid-19 vaccinated. They use positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior. Both children like dancing and Disney princesses. Their activities include gymnastics and soccer. Twin 1 is sensitive, happy, affectionate, silly, and sweet. Twin 2 is silly, outgoing, strong, independent, and curious. They get along most of the time.
