Family in Chatham is seeking a full-time (34 hours/week), live-out nanny for their three children, ages 1, 3, and 6 years old. Typical schedule would be Monday and Tuesday from 8 am-5 pm; Wednesday from 8 am-1 pm; Thursday from 12 pm-7 pm; Friday from 8 am-12 pm.
Duties:
Primary role is caring for 15-month-old boy, taking him to classes, library, and playdates. While he naps, Nanny can tidy up, help with children’s laundry, and prep for children’s dinner. For older two children, help with morning routine and “tag teaming” with parents for school pick-up and transportation to activities. Occasional shopping for groceries.
Ideal caregiver:
Ideal caregiver is looking to stay with a family for several years. They are flexible and can work as a team with Parents. They are energetic, enthusiastic, and enjoy engaging with children. Ideal nanny will be proactive when it comes to getting the children out and arranging playdates. Vaccinated nanny preferred.
About the children:
This 6-year-old is talkative, fun, girly, and imaginative. She loves Barbies, dance, gymnastics, and swimming. Her brothers follow her lead, which can be very helpful. This 3-year-old boy is funny, cheerful, observant, sensitive, and playful. He loves vehicles, Paw Patrol, and swimming at the YMCA. He responds well to clear rules and calm discipline. The “baby” goes with the flow! He loves water, vehicles, books, songs, dogs, dancing, and stroller walks outdoors. Children get along most of the time.
About the parents:
Parents post rules for children on refrigerator and reinforce them positively using a point system. Both parents are vaccinated. One or both parents usually work from home on a separate floor.
