Montclair family is searching for a nanny for their two adorable sons, ages 5 years old and 15 months old. The schedule will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, four days per week. Some flexibility with which days is preferred.
Duties include:
Nanny will be caring for the 15-month-old all day and the 5-year-old only outside of school hours. School drop off and pick-up involve just a short walk or drive. Simple cooking for the children only, doing children’s laundry, grocery shopping, vacuuming, and basic tidying up after the children are included.
Ideal nanny:
This family’s ideal nanny is kind, loving, and enjoys being active. They are punctual and communicative, especially about any changes in schedule. Looking for a caregiver who enjoys being outdoors at the park and playground and who can keep up with two very energetic boys. Ideal nanny is comfortable picking up a large toddler. Strong preference for a caregiver who can swim. Some college preferred, but not required.
About the children:
This active, funny, smart, silly, happy 5-year-old boy is not in school yet but LOVES all things dinosaurs and animals and running around outside. The 15-month-old is sweet, sensitive, active, happy, and funny. The children thrive with structure and get along most of the time.
About the parents:
Parents love allowing the boys to try new things within the firm boundaries they have established and that the children respect. Time Out is used occasionally with the older child. Both parents are vaccinated. Family has one cat, but no pet care is required.
