Family in Bernardsville is looking for a full-time, live-out nanny for their children, ages 2 and 3 years old. Schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Ideally, Nanny will start as soon as possible.
Duties included:
Cooking for child(ren) only. Basic tidying up after children. Supervise playdates under safe conditions.
Ideal caregiver:
Looking for an experienced nanny who loves kids. In need of someone who is patient (two toddlers!) and respectful of children but also firm. Looking for someone who is proactive and solution-oriented. Please come with ideas for engaging the kids, helping them learn, and helping them to develop emotionally, and physically. Ideal caregiver is active; she likes to be outside, even in the heat of summer and the cold of winter. She is a self-starter - family is happy to provide any supplies you need, just bring lots of ideas! College education is a bonus but not required if candidate has childcare experience.
About the children:
The 3 year old loves to play outside and loves music. She is smart, chatty, imaginative, social, and adventurous. She likes TV/movies, but is only allowed screen time on a limited basis. The 2 year old loves cars and trucks and playing outside. He is talkative for his age, hilarious, active, curious, observant, and loves to "read".
About the home:
The parents are outdoors-y and family-centric (kids' art is on the walls). There are no pets in the home.
Benefits:
Full-time salaried position. Nanny will also be paid for overtime, vacation days, sick days, time off, and holidays. Family will reimburse for any on-the-job car expenses.
