Family in Califon, NJ is seeking a nanny or manny for their children, ages 8 months old and 9 years old. The two scheduling options are as follows and are based on fit:
Part time: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 am to 4/5:00 pm
Full time: Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 4/5:00 pm with possible weekend hours
Duties include:
Preparing basic meals and snacks for the children and family (preferred but not required). Washing dishes. Putting delivered groceries away. Doing the family’s laundry and light housekeeping such as vacuuming. Basic tidying up after the children. Feeding the dogs and periodically letting them out into the fenced yard. No driving is required.
Ideal nanny:
The ideal nanny for this family is happy, patient, drama-free, intelligent. Looking for a self starter who is competent and detail-oriented. Someone who is kind but can be firm when needed. Ideal nanny is committed to making life easier for the family. College degree/experience and bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
About the children:
This 9-year-old is sensitive, intelligent, kind, interactive, and thoughtful. He loves drawing and all things animal! His afterschool activities include art, baseball, and hockey.
This 9-month-old is happy, stubborn, energetic, interactive, and beyond cute!
About the parents:
These parents are outgoing, direct, kind, loving, and detailed. Their discipline style is kind but firm and consequences for undesired behavior include removing privileges such as iPad time.
