Single mother in Jersey City is in need of a full-time nanny for her very easy-to-love newborn. This Jersey City family will be relocating to Short Hills/Summit, NJ, in September 2023, but is ideally looking for someone who is okay with both areas as they make the transition; but is okay with two separate caregivers (based on the location change). Will need coverage from 8:00 am when the parent has to go into the office. The typical schedule is as follows, but occasional flexibility is preferred:
Monday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Tuesday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Wednesday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Thursday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Duties include:
Doing baby's laundry, bottles/food preparation, feeding child, cleaning baby's toys, play and sleep areas, bathing child, cooking for child only, and tidying after child.
Ideal nanny:
This family’s ideal nanny is thoughtful, hardworking, dependable, trustworthy, engaging with child, responsible, and great with infants. A nanny who is vaccinated (covid, tdap, flu) and a non-smoker, CPR training is a plus.
About the child
This 4 month- old is sweet, easy-going, friendly, good easter, and sleeps through the night. She loves music, moving, and listening to stories but hates tummy time. She loves to laugh and smile.
About the family:
The parent is kind, hardworking, dependable, fair, and treats others well; also generous, thoughtful, corporative, and covid vaccinated. Mom works hybrid and once she moves to the suburbs might extend hours depending on the commute.
Grandmother visits often to help her single daughter. She may be moving in or near them in the fall to the suburbs, but she is almost 80 years old and can't physically take care of an infant. She was a teacher for 34 years, sweet, kind, generous, patient, lovely, and funny.
