A family in Ridgewood, NJ is seeking a full-time, live-out nanny or manny for their 5-month-old child. The typical schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. No driving is required.
Duties include:
Creating fun and education activities for the child. Taking the child on daily walks (weather permitting). Preparing meals and feeding the child. Following nap schedule. Tracking naps and meals. Cleaning bottles and dishes/utensils once the baby starts eating solids. Cleaning up after meals. Tidying play spaces.
Ideal caregiver:
The ideal nanny for this home is kind, loving, nurturing, bubbly, and joyful. They should make the child feel safe and loved while fostering his curiosity and development. Nanny should be organized and punctual. Family would also like a nanny who is responsive to the child’s emotions. Prior experience with infants is a must. COVID vaccination is required, along with Tdap and flu vaccinations. A degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
About the child:
This 5-month-old is sweet, relaxed, engaged, and communicative. He loves books and is curious about everything around him. He likes tummy time, rolling, face-to-face time, and singing.
