Maplewood, NJ family with two children, ages 5 and 8, is seeking an afterschool nanny to begin as soon as possible. Typical hours are Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
Duties include:
Preparing snacks and basic meals for the children. Picking them up from school and providing transportation to and from activities. Tidying up after the children. Helping with occasional meal prep for the family is a plus but not required.
Ideal nanny:
Ideal nanny is a self-starter who collaborates well with parents. Looking for someone who is patient and calm and can engage the children. COVID-19 vaccination preferred.
About the children:
This 8-year-old is sweet, animated, and creative. Her afterschool activities include dance and theater, softball, and gymnastics. She loves writing and art. This 5-year-old is easygoing, sweet, and funny. Like her big sister, she is creative and loves art and dancing. The children typically get along.
About the parents:
These parents are creative, hardworking, organized, and supportive. They use short time-outs to encourage positive behavior. Both parents and children are vaccinated for Covid-19.
