Ridgewood, NJ family is hoping to find a warm, nurturing caregiver (male or female) for their 16-month-old son. Ideal hours are 8:30 am - 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Parents can be flexible with hours for the right fit. Additional hours will be offered on occasion (until 4:00 pm) if Nanny is available and interested, but these are not required.
Duties include:
All duties are child-related. Preparing basic snacks for the child. Light tidying up after the child (cleaning his dishes, organizing toys, etc.). No driving or household errands required.
Ideal caregiver:
This family’s ideal caregiver enjoys having fun outdoors! They will encourage the child to be curious and to explore his surroundings in safe ways. Looking for a caregiver with a warm, caring, and gentle disposition who can also be affectionate and silly at times. This family would love to find someone who will be a dependable, consistent, and long-term part of the family. Ideal caregiver is comfortable communicating their thoughts on child rearing. Covid-19 vaccination and booster required. Pay will be on the books. Flexibility with times (with advanced notice) is preferred, but not required.
About the child:
This 16-month-old is friendly, curious, playful, and active. He loves people and socializing. Animals and playing outside are a few of his favorite things. He is currently taking swimming lessons and uses baby sign language. He loves life and is truly a ray of light!
About the parents:
These parents are easygoing, friendly, and collaborative. They value open communication and exchange of ideas. They encourage positive behaviors by praising their son for good behavior and redirecting him from challenging situations.
Benefits:
