Family in Berkeley Heights is looking for a nanny for their two children, ages 4 years old and 18months old. Family is seeking 3 to 4 days (30-40 hours) based on Nanny’s preference and best fit. Primary days needed are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:30 am-5:30 pm with the potential for a fourth day and/or occasional evening care.
Duties include:
Preparing snacks and basic meals for children. Doing children’s laundry. Tidying up after children. Providing transportation to and from preschool for four-year-old. No errands required.
Ideal nanny:
Ideal nanny has had meaningful experiences with childcare, but prior nanny experience is not required (i.e. preschool or daycare experience acceptable). Looking for a caretaker who is a warm, nurturing, and kind individual. Nanny must be vaccinated.
About the children:
This four-year-old boy is curious, goofy, introverted, and habitual. He is beginning pre-school in the fall. He is inquisitive and enjoys reading, arts and crafts, nature and science topics (dinosaurs, animals), and exploring the outdoors. This 18-month-old is independent, curious, clever, funny, and a bit of a daredevil! She loves “reading”.
About the parents:
Parents use Time Out and removal of privileges to encourage positive behavior. They are fully vaccinated.
