Family in Summit is looking for a nanny to care for their energetic two-year-old son. Typical schedule for Nanny will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 5:30 pm with flexibility to stay until 6:00 pm if necessary. Nanny should be open to occasional date night care.
Ideal candidate:
Looking for an experienced, reliable, warm, nurturing, very patient nanny with toddler experience, preferably for longer periods of time. Nanny needs to be physically able to keep up with a very active toddler. Ideal nanny is organized and able to keep Child on schedule. Adaptability with Child’s schedule and evolving needs, based on discussions with parents, is preferred. Ideal nanny is Covid-19 vaccinated.
Duties include:
Arranging and hosting playdates, engaging the child with books, arts and crafts, and trips to the park and classes. Folding Child's laundry and helping with Child’s meal and snack prep as required. Tidying up after the child and keeping the child’s bedroom and clothing organized. Emptying the dishwasher every morning. When/if Child begins school, additional duties will include picking Child up from school, grocery shopping, family's laundry, and other errands as needed. No deep cleaning involved.
About the family:
This energetic two-year-old is easygoing and loves outdoor play! There are no pets in the home. Positive reinforcement and explanations, rather than time-outs, are used with the child. Parents both are vaccinated.
