More details:
Family in Summit is looking for after school nanny for their six and three-year-old children. Schedule is Monday through Friday from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm or 6:00 pm. Mom can be flexible for the right fit. Compensation based on experience. Flexible start date (no later than September, but open to immediate start if preferred by Nanny). Willingness to do late hours once a month preferred but not required.
The ideal candidate:
The ideal nanny possesses the following attributes: independence and ability to self-direct, strong time management skills, and varied real-life experiences. Must be native English speaker. Background in education is a plus but not required. No strict COVID requirements as long as Nanny is being reasonably safe.
Duties include:
Doing laundry, driving oldest to activities, preparing meals for the family (with help/guidance), entertaining the children, and accepting grocery deliveries.
About the children:
The oldest is a good listener who enjoys sports, dinosaurs, and Legos. Younger child is not such a great listener, but Mom is on top of it. He is funny, mischievous, very smart, and a negotiator (gets Dad every time, but never Mom!) He is learning sounds, letters, and counting. He loves to play with anything his brother is playing with. He is potty trained. Both boys are in school full time and are very well-adjusted to the school routine. They will be in camp during the summer. Both have a mild-sensory processing disorder.
About the family:
Mother is a planner, always striving to be the best boss. She is clear and honest and wishes to work with Nanny in order to achieve goals together. Both parents are vaccinated and only interact with other vaccinated adults.
Benefits will include:
Salary for set hours (this includes pay if family on vacation) plus overtime pay. Paid vacation days, paid sick days, paid time off, and paid holidays are included. Increase of PTO based on right fit.
