Family in Berkeley Heights is looking for a full-time, live-out nanny for their one-year-old child starting in October or ASAP. Schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
About the family:
These parents are fairly easygoing. The child is happy and strong-willed and enjoys dancing and being outside. Child has started to develop separation anxiety. At this stage, parents are using positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior.
Ideal Caregiver:
Looking for someone experienced with small children and with facilitating the development of social and educational skills. Ideal nanny is patient and willing to have fun. Our child is fairly high energy, so our ideal nanny will be able to chase after her and will enjoy getting on the ground to play. Nanny with her own similar-age child would be welcome to bring her child along. Ideal nanny has her own transportation, but this is not required.
Duties include:
Cooking and laundry for the child only. Tidying up after the child. Nanny must be willing to take the child to activities and playdates and adhere to appropriate social distancing guidelines.
