Position details:
Family in Madison is looking for a nanny for their 10-month-old baby boy. They would like three days of care per week to take place on ideally Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. They are willing to give a guaranteed number of hours/salary plus overtime pay. Ideal start date is in very flexible.
Ideal caregiver:
Ideally, the nanny will be kind, loving, patient, fun, and reliable. Must be a dog lover. Nanny needs to be a caring, patient individual who will engage the baby with reading, music, and other fun and educational activities. Ideal caregiver will be willing to drive child to activities as he gets older. We are looking for someone to be a part of our family and to grow with us.
Duties:
Nanny’s primary attention should be on the baby when awake. Duties will include: meeting his basic needs (feeding, changing, and keeping him safe), fostering a love for learning and play, and helping to reinforce good eating and sleeping habits. Tidying up after the baby is expected. Doing children's laundry is a bonus, but not required, as is accompanying him to classes when the time comes.
About the home:
The baby loves music. Like any baby, he is very sweet, inquisitive, observant, innocent, and cute. Parents are fun, happy, reliable, and nurturing people. They have a dog, but no pet care is required. However, nanny must love dogs because he loves to cuddle and be in the company of humans.
