A family in Montclair is looking for a loving and proactive Nanny/House Manager to care for their 10-year-old daughter. The schedule will be Monday through Thursday from 12:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
Duties:
Assisting with household tasks while the child is at school, including weekly grocery shopping for the family, handling dry cleaning, dropping off packages, and other errands. Picking up the 10-year-old from school and driving her to after-school activities. Ensuring homework is done, preparing healthy dinner for the child and occasionally parent, and occasionally preparing lunches. The Nanny will also assist with family laundry, vacuuming, organizing, and basic tidying of the house.
Ideal nanny:
The ideal Nanny for this home is warm and kind, but able to be an authority figure for the child. They should be engaging and looking to build a relationship and grow with the family. This family is looking for someone who is proactive and responsible that will help them uphold values and the expectations of manners for their child. This Nanny should be able to swim and be comfortable picking up the family’s small dog from Dad’s office once a week.
