A family in Long Valley is looking for a morning and after school nanny or manny for their two daughters, ages 2 years old and 4 years old. The schedule will be rotating 3 to 4 days a week, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 10:00 am then 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The nanny or manny will have consistent pay even if they are not needed.
Ideal nanny:
The ideal nanny for this home is caring, loving, consistent, and easy going. Sweet and enjoys playing, someone who has experience as a caregiver. This nanny or manny must have open flexibility with the schedule.
Duties:
Basic cooking for the children, including small meals and snacks. Transporting the children to and from school (school pick up at 1:45 pm). Basic tidying after the children.
About the children:
These children are two sisters who enjoy each other’s company most of the time. Both enjoy making jewelry and playing with their baby dolls. This 4-year-old is sensitive, meticulous and profound. She loves art, reading, and organizing her toys. This 2-year-old is sharp and observant, always following her older sister’s lead. She loves music and drawing.
About the parents:
Both parents are currently in the medical field and are vaccinated. They are organized and orderly. They take a positive reinforcement approach to parenting their daughters and include the use of time-outs.
Dad is easy to approach and always willing to find a solution. He is understanding, thoughtful, and empathetic. He describes himself as a grumpy dad sometimes when having a lot on his mind but is very easy going (not a Karen).
Mom is caring, easy to talk to and approachable. She is a loving and protective mother with a light hearted spirit. She is described as a typical Leo who loves spending time with her children.
