A family in Far Hills is looking for a professional live-out, weekend nanny for their 3-year-old daughter. The schedule can vary from weekend to weekend. The typical schedule will be 12 pm to 8 pm on Saturday (flexibility is required) and 12 pm to 5 pm on Sunday. The family is expecting a second child in June.
Duties include:
Caring for the three-year-old child while creating a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment. Creating educational activities and reading to the child. Playing outside and taking the child on playdates or special outings (like a park or the zoo). Preparing meals for the child. Implementing and maintaining consistent daily routines, including naps, meals, and activities. Cleaning up after the child, including organizing and maintaining the child’s playroom and bedroom. Maintaining a tidy kitchen by loading and unloading the dishwasher and emptying the trash and recycling. Completing the child’s laundry. No pet care is required.

The ideal nanny for this family is caring, energetic, clean, and pays attention to detail. They have excellent communication skills, extensive experience with newborns, and are confident in their ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently. Looking for someone who loves playing outdoors, reading, doing crafts with children, and will help reach the child’s developmental milestones. They must be able to swim.
