A family in Montvale, NJ is looking for a part-time, after school nanny for their two children, ages 7 and 8 years old. Schedule will be approximately 4-5 hours a day.
Duties:
Picking the children up after school. Transporting them to and from activities. Assisting the children with homework as needed. Preparing basic meals and snacks. Doing the children’s laundry and tidying up after them.
Ideal nanny:
The ideal nanny for this family will be vigilant when it comes to the safety and wellbeing of the children. Looking for someone who will provide structure in the afternoon hours after school.
About the children:
This 8-year-old is engaging, smart, and persistent. She loves reading but finds math a bit challenging. This 7-year-old is detail oriented, warm, and playful. He loves reading as well as sports and anything Pokémon. Math can be a challenge at times. Both children enjoy a range of activities outside of school, and they typically get along well.
About the parents:
These loving parents have a history of working well with childcare providers. When the children display unwanted behaviors, they talk to them and remind them of the consequences should the behavior continue. They are looking to minimize electronics (computer, TV, etc.) in the home. All family members are vaccinated for Covid-19.
