A part-time nanny or manny for a precious 2-year-old child is needed in Madison, NJ. The family is allowing the caregiver to choose which day they would like to work. The hours are also up to the caregiver and can be either 9:00 am to 5:00 pm OR 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Duties include:
Providing transportation in the family’s vehicle to music classes, playdates, and the library. Preparing basic snacks and heating up meals for the child (typically prepared by parents). Basic tidying up after the child, including anything spilled during time of care, and/or encouraging life skills (putting away toys). Assistance with potty training.
Ideal nanny:
The ability to speak Spanish is a must. The ideal nanny for this family communicates well and is trustworthy. They are highly attentive and will keep the child away from allergens. Looking for a caregiver who will encourage the child’s confidence, engage with him in self-directed play, and allow him to safely explore his environment. Covid-19 vaccination required, as well TDAP, and Flu vaccination.
About the child:
This happy toddler is affectionate, playful, curious, and independent. He loves playing with other children and going to music and gym class, playgrounds, and the library. Pretending to be a chef is one of his favorite activities! He is affectionate and loves hugs and positive reinforcement.
About the parents:
These parents are understanding, respectful, and generally easygoing. They model kindness at all times and strive to validate their son’s emotions. They practice gentle parenting while the child is going through the toddler stage.
About the household:
All family members are vaccinated for Covid-19, and the parents are boosted as well. This household is a cat and sesame free house, due to severe allergies.
