Family in Asbury Park is looking for a full-time nanny or manny for their three children who are 5 years old, 3 years old, and 1 year old. The typical schedule will be Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm.
Ideal caregiver:
The ideal caregiver for this family is high energy and can keep up with three children at once. They are reliable, loving, trustworthy, and good at following and retaining directions. Looking for someone who is sensitive, hands-on, and able to be very careful with the youngest child, who has some severe skin sensitivities. The ideal caregiver is organized and proactive but willing to ask questions if they don’t know something. The nanny should be willing to work as a team with Parents. Must be vaccinated for Covid-19 and be able to swim.
Duties:
Continuing tasks from the week, including but not limited to: washing, folding, and organizing the children’s clothes. Teaching life and social skills. Planning and transporting the children to activities. Providing travel care once every two months (for additional pay). Serving meals delivered by the family chef. Bathing and dressing the children. Putting them down for naps and following bedtime routine. Changing diapers and potty training. Engaging the children in creative outdoor and indoor activities. Vacuuming and tidying up after the children. No pet care or errands required.
About the children:
This five-year-old is high energy, smart, fun, and independent. She is learning gymnastics and swimming. This three-year-old is easygoing and high energy. She loves to eat, play, and dance. The baby is 1 year old.
About the parents:
These parents are devoted, protective, and supportive. The discipline structure in the home includes praising good behavior and talking through unwanted behaviors when they occur.
