More details:

A family in Verona is looking for a wonderful part-time, live-out nanny for their two children, ages 3 years old and 1 year old. The schedule would be Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 1 pm, with some flexibility for date night care. The family is expecting a third child in March. For the first three months after the baby is born, the family would like commitment for both days. After that time, the family is flexible, depending on the nanny’s availability.

Duties include:

Preparing breakfast for the family. Creating engaging activities for the children, including taking them to the library, park, playdates, or outdoor time. Preparing lunches for the family. Keeping a list of food items the family is running low on. Doing laundry for the children. Swapping out clothes that no longer fit. Vacuuming and basic tidying up after the children. No pet care required. Nanny must be able to swim and travel with the family.

Ideal nanny:

The ideal nanny for this family is warm, nurturing, and loves what they do. This caregiver must be able to read the room and know when Mom needs help (while she is on bed rest due to risky pregnancy). They must be creative and easygoing with a positive outlook. Looking for someone who is available to travel with the family on occasional weekends to their second home. The nanny will be working in partnership with Mom, as Dad works 14-18 hour days.

About the children:

This 3-year-old is charismatic, intelligent, and strong-willed. She loves playing and goes to swim, dance, and yoga classes after school. This 1-year-old is easy, loving, and bright.

About the parents:

These parents are hardworking, kind, generous, and family-oriented. They hold firm boundaries with the children without yelling. They help the children take breaks when necessary, but never isolate a child for a timeout. If a toy or activity is causing too many issues, they will stop the activity or remove the toy until there is a resolution. This family is expecting a third child in March.

Benefits:

Salary plus paid vacation days off, paid holidays off, paid sick days off, and paid personal days off. Nanny has the option to be live-out or live-in.
