Family in Montclair is looking for a full-time nanny for their 2-year-old daughter. Schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm. Hours could vary slightly, but 45 hours per week guaranteed. The start date is flexible for the ideal candidate.
Ideal nanny:
Ideal nanny has toddler experience. They are communicative, reliable, professional, and looking for a long-term placement. Seeking a nanny who truly loves children and is dedicated to helping them meet milestones and learn new skills. Ideal caregiver is physically active and able to engage the child in playtime and daily walks. They own a car and have a clean driving record. Nanny must be vaccinated for Covid-19.
Duties include:
Managing nap and feeding schedule. Twice a week, transporting the child to and from preschool (beginning in November). Engaging her in physically and mentally stimulating activities such as reading and conversing, taking her to the park, and playing with toys with her. Assisting with potty training. Household duties include doing the child’s laundry, tidying up after her and cleaning her toys, loading/unloading the dishwasher, and receiving / putting away groceries delivered to home.
About the family:
This 2-year-old is super cute, very observant, polite, smart, social, and curious! She loves to play, smile, and spend time outdoors. Parents are kind and caring, hardworking, family-focused, and take their baby’s development and health very seriously. Mom is also social and easy to talk to. Both parents are vaccinated for Covid-19 and require that their caregiver is as well.
