Family in Old Tappan is seeking a kind Nanny for their two young children. This family is very flexible for the right fit. Their ideal schedule is from 3 pm to 10 pm on weekdays. This schedule is very flexible and can vary weekly. There is an option to live in or live out, but overnight care as needed is a requirement.
If the nanny would like additional hours; weekend schedule is typically Saturday or Sunday for seven hours total. The weekend schedule is also flexible and can include one or both days based on Nanny’s preference and family’s needs.
Duties include:
Duties include vacuuming, children’s laundry, basic tidying after the children, and organizing. The Nanny would also be expected to run errands such as grocery shopping, shopping for the children, and delivering donations. There will be an occasional need for the Nanny to heat up food for the children. Occasional pet care such as feeding and walking the dog is required when the family is not present.
Ideal Nanny:
Ideal Nanny is kind, nurturing, engaging, energetic, and able to set boundaries. The Nanny should be fully vaccinated for Covid 19. Ideal Nanny is always professional and dressed well. This Nanny should have a calm presence around children. A Nanny who speaks both English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
About the child(ren):
This 7-year-old is intelligent, kind, independent, challenging, and affectionate. He loves to play ping pong, air hockey, and board games. He also enjoys sports and outdoor activities.
This 3-year-old is sweet, talkative, affectionate, social, and smart. She loves watching Paw Patrol and listening to music. She also enjoys imaginative play and outdoor activities. She has a peanut and tree nut allergy that could require the use of an EpiPen.
About the parents:
These parents are hard-working, dedicated, kind, and approachable. They are very hands-on and engaged with their children. Routines are important to them, and they are seeking a Nanny that will respect those routines. Both parents have pre existing health conditions and are extremely Covid conscious. There is one small dog in the home.
