Family in Short Hills is seeking a kind, patient, and organized nanny and household manager for their three wonderful children, a 9-year-old and 13-year-old twins. Typical schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm and Fridays from 7:00 am until 5:30 pm. The nanny will be paid for the full day but will manage her own time while the children are in school (to include household management tasks).
Duties include:
Basic tidying up after the children (the family has a full-time housekeeper). Doing the children’s laundry. Making their appointments. Grocery shopping. Helping with homework. Transporting the children to their activities. Preparing their dinner and snacks. Letting the dog out. Taking the dog to the groomers.
Ideal nanny:
This family’s ideal nanny is kind and patient with the children. Organization is important to the family and should also be important to the nanny. Willingness to provide occasional date night/overnight care is a plus. Covid-19 vaccination is preferred but not required.
About the children:
This 13-year-old boy is smart, shy, and funny. He can sometimes get a little impatient, but he is a joy to be around. He enjoys sports. This 13-year-old girl is determined, sensitive, and wonderful. She is a fantastic friend and sister. She loves art and playing sports. This 9-year-old boy is very sweet and has the biggest heart. After school, he loves to play chess and baseball. The children are well-behaved and get along most of the time.
About the parents:
These parents are very kind. They like to stay engaged in their children’s day-to-day lives. When disciplining the children, they prefer to have productive conversations with them about the issue. There is one dog in the home.
