Family in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey is seeking a part-time nanny for their two children, ages 4 and 2 years old. Typical schedule is Monday to Thursday from 3:00 pm- 7:00 pm.
Duties include:
Keeping the children engaged and tidying up after them. Loading and unloading the dishwasher. Helping with dinner prep and/or cleanup, bath time, and bedtime.
Ideal nanny:
Ideal nanny is easygoing and kind. They are playful and energetic and will engage the children in activities like “chase,” hide and seek, and playing on the swingset. Looking for someone who enjoys being outdoors.
About the child(ren):
This 4-year-old is energetic, smart, talkative, independent, and looking to please. She attends preschool and loves books and drawing. She also enjoys swimming, soccer, running, playing outside, and gymnastics. This 2-year-old is sweet, stubborn, silly, sensitive, and easily frustrated. He loves trains and swinging on the swingset. The children get along most of the time.
About the parents:
Parents describe themselves as “type A” but also pretty easygoing. They try to laugh at themselves! They tend to let the kids resolve disagreements on their own but will step in quickly if necessary. Their desire is to lead with empathy and compassion.
