Family in Fairfield, NJ is looking for a nanny/mother’s helper for their two boys, ages 3 and 4 years old, as well as for their twins who are due in June. Schedule is very flexible, but at this point, the ideal schedule is Monday through Friday from 12:30 pm until 6:30 pm.
Duties include:
Working as a team with Mom to manage what will be four children. Helping with infant twins when older boys get home from full-day school (2:30 pm) and Mom is with them. Doing the children’s laundry and tidying up after them. Accompanying Mom on local outings and school pick-ups. Preparing basic snacks and assisting with feeding the children.
Ideal nanny:
Ideal nanny for this calm and loving household is personable, kind-hearted, playful, and gentle (non-authoritarian) with children. Looking for a non-smoker who is trustworthy, punctual, and dependable. Nanny needs to speak English clearly and be Covid-19 vaccinated. Experience with twins is a plus.
About the child(ren):
This 4-year-old is kind, intuitive, strong-willed, creative, and has a big imagination. His 3-year-old brother is kind, expressive, energetic, strong-willed, and playful. The boys get along most of the time.
About the parents:
These parents are kind, down-to-earth, and hard-working. They have a calm approach to discipline which includes helping the children recognize and understand the situation at hand and then applying a reasonable consequence if behavior continues.
