Family in Livingston is looking for a part-time nanny for their two children, ages 4 and 7 years old. The typical schedule is Monday through Thursday from 3:00 pm until 6:30 pm and Fridays from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
Duties include:
Picking Children up from school and preschool and taking them to activities. Doing bathtime. Preparing or warming up basic dinners for the children only. Doing the children’s laundry and tidying up after them.
Ideal nanny:
The ideal nanny for this family has experience with children in the 4-7 year old age range. They are kind and caring but able to maintain structure and boundaries. They are able to keep the kids actively engaged and to aid in their overall development.
About the children:
This 7-year-old is friendly, active, curious, thoughtful, and kind. She enjoys school, reading, and engaging in conversations. Her afterschool activities are martial arts, coding, piano, and tennis. This 4-year-old is active, sporty, and generally reserved with new people. He plays tennis after school and likes to be outdoors. He likes to write and draw and to emulate his big sister!
About the parents:
These parents are friendly and family-oriented. They discuss appropriate behaviors in a situation-specific way. Consequences generally involve suspending screen privileges. Family is fully vaccinated, except for the 4-year-old.
