Family in Ridgewood is searching for a nanny or manny for their sunny 10-month-old child for 6 hours per day. Ideal hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00am - 3:00pm, but Family can be flexible for the right fit.
Duties include:
Serving (and occasionally preparing) basic snacks for Child and cleaning up afterwards. Cleaning up/organizing toys before leaving for the day. No driving, household errands, or pet care required.
Ideal caregiver:
This family’s ideal caregiver is warm, gentle, affectionate, caring, and will nurture Child’s curiosity in safe ways. They will enjoy having fun and being silly with him! Ideal caregiver wishes to be a long-term part of the family and a reliable presence in the child’s life. Nanny must be vaccinated and boosted for Covid-19 and be willing to be paid on the books. Flexibility with times (with advanced notice) is preferred, but not required.
About the family:
This 10-month-old is friendly, curious, playful, and loves life! He is currently taking swimming lessons. Parents are caring, relaxed, friendly, professional, and fun. They use praise, encouragement, and redirection to promote positive behaviors. Family has a very friendly “senior” cat who will not require care.
Benefits:
On-the-books salary for 30 hours. Any hours over 40 will be paid at time- and-a-half. Paid vacation days off, paid holidays off, and paid sick/personal days off.
