Family in Kinnelon, NJ is looking for a nanny or manny to care for their one-year-old. Typical schedule for Nanny will be 9:30 am - 5:30 pm on Monday, Thursday, and Friday.
Ideal candidate:
Ideal caregiver is supportive, creative, and energetic and will make the child feel comfortable. Must have five-plus years of experience. Person must have a car and be comfortable driving to the park, to the lake, etc. Must be able to swim. Must be willing and able to help with large dog during the day. Ideal candidate will have some experience with speech delays, but this is not a requirement. Caregiver must be COVID-19 vaccinated. Looking for someone calm and supportive with a collaborative nature who will be loyal to the family.
Duties included:
Duties include feeding breakfast and lunch to the child, cleaning dishes and toys, and emptying dishwasher. Caregiver will engage children in activities and outings and straighten up by the end of the day. Pet care includes feeding and watering dog and letting him out. Doing child's laundry a plus but not required.
About the family:
This one-year-old is sweet, smart, inquisitive, determined, and observant. They love swimming, being outside, animals, and other children. Child has a speech delay, and the family is avoiding nuts at this time. Parents are supportive and encourage the little one to learn and be independent. Current discipline structure is verbal correction of undesired behavior, explanation of correct behavior, and opportunity for Child to practice and be praised.
Both parents are fully Covid-19 vaccinated and take precautions (masks in public and limit visits to indoor public places).
