Morristown family is looking for a morning and/or afterschool nanny. Family is willing to offer three to five days per week with a guaranteed salary / number of hours. Family prefers coverage on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from approximately 6:15-8:15 am and again from 4:30-6:30 pm. Summer hours will increase to include Tuesday and Thursday.
Nanny will be paid for two hours in the morning, but Nanny will only be working apx. one hour each morning. Depending on Nanny’s asking rate, the family will be paying nanny or nannies for more hours than they would be working. Ideally, Nanny will occasionally be able to stay longer in the evenings and will be available if the child stays home sick from daycare.
Ideal nanny:
Ideal nanny is reliable, responsible, and punctual. They are a safe driver with their own transportation. They are able to be flexible for occasional later hours and to cover the child’s sick days.
Duties include:
Preparing son for daycare and dropping him off there. In the afternoon, picking him up from daycare and tending to him until parents get home. Changing diapers and clothes, preparing and serving basic snacks, cleaning him up after feedings, and basic tidying up after the child.
About the family:
Both parents are vaccinated. This 13-month-old is joyful, smart, very active, and attentive. He enjoys reading books and taking walks outdoors.
