Family in Florham Park is looking for a part-time, temporary caregiver for their newborn, arriving in July. Schedule will be 20-plus hours per week, depending on Family’s needs. Additional date night hours available. This position is similar to a baby nurse/newborn specialist and would only be for a few months; duration is flexible and based on caregiver.
Duties include:
Nanny will provide all-encompassing assistance to this new mother and her infant. This includes following feeding and sleep schedule, assisting with sleep training, providing lactation assistance, changing diapers, and bathing the baby. No need to do laundry or dishes, but cleaning the bottles and pacifiers would be helpful. Only possible pet care would be while parents are at the hospital giving birth.
Ideal nanny:
Ideal nanny is detail-oriented, kind, patient, loving, understanding, and a good teacher. They have many years’ experience with newborns, including providing assistance with lactation and sleep training. Ideal nanny has or is willing to get the Covid-19 vaccine.
About the family:
These expectant parents are fun loving, goofy, and responsible. They are pretty “chill” in general. They are both vaccinated and would like Nanny to be as well.
