Family in Mountainside is looking for a full-time Nanny to start as soon as possible for their two children, ages three and one. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please note that, beginning in July (or once it’s safe to place older child in programs), care will be for younger child only.
COVID-19 Note:
Family is being very safe and will be vaccinated. Due to Covid-19, Caregiver will have their own vehicle in order to get to the home, but no driving on the job is currently required. Nanny absolutely must be conscious and taking covid-19 safe measure.
About the children:
The oldest is high risk for COVID-19 because of pulmonary issues. He is currently not in school/camp until July 1st. He is funny, silly, social, goofy, energetic, affectionate, and has a great passion for food. He's a super happy, good kid and loves to learn and play. The one-year-old is calm, quiet, very smart for her age, happy, and a very easy baby to care for. She loves her big brother.
Ideal caregiver:
… has a calm, quiet, patient personality, but also knows when to be silly and fun with the children. Ideal caregiver is engaging and will enjoy investing in the children’s educational growth by teaching them new things throughout the day.
Duties will include:
Primarily caring for the children. If both children are asleep, Caregiver can assist with children's laundry and tidying up after any craft or activities that they do with the children during time of care.
About the parents:
They are a kind, affectionate, loving, and very busy working couple. Discipline for the oldest child usually involves the counting method, then time out.
Benefits:
Salaried position plus overtime on the books. Paid vacation days, paid sick days, paid time off, and paid holidays are included. Family will provide masks.
