Family in Short Hills, NJ is looking for a part-time nanny for their two children, ages 6 and 4 years old. Ideal schedule is Monday to Friday from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Flexibility with additional scheduling to be discussed until agreed upon by both parties.
Duties include:
Transporting Children to and from school and activities. Helping with homework. Cooking and preparing snacks for the children only. Doing Children’s laundry and tidying up after them. Showering the children.
Ideal nanny:
Ideal nanny is patient, kind, polite, and will keep the children’s activities and behavior on track. They are LOYAL, flexible, and willing to play active games. Ideal caregiver drives, has a sense of humor, and loves music (or at least is willing to play music for the kids). Nanny must be Covid-19 vaccinated. Willingness to pick up additional weekend hours a plus.
About the children:
This six-year-old girl is funny, sweet, determined, outgoing, and loyal. She loves dance, gymnastics, singing, and playing dress up. Her afterschool activities include theater, soccer, and tennis.
This four-year-old boy is also funny and is shy, sweet, stubborn, and loyal. He loves every sport but also anything his sister is doing! His only afterschool activity currently is skating. The children usually get along.
About the parents:
The parents are kind, easy going, and funny. They have established a consistent routine in the household that has been a success. Five-minute timeouts used occasionally. Both parents are vaccinated for Covid-19.
Benefits: Salary plus paid vacation days, paid holidays, and paid personal/sick days off. Gas reimbursement if Nanny uses their own car.
