Full-time nanny needed for family in Ridgewood, NJ with a three-month-old daughter. Schedule is from 8:30 am until 5:30 pm, four to five days per week. The family prefers four days per week but will offer five days for the right fit. They are also open to live-out or live-in nannies.
Ideal nanny:
Looking for someone who is positive and solution-oriented. Someone who is a good communicator and team player who will work together with parents to stay on the same page. Someone who is attentive, responsible, nurturing, and kind. Past experience caring for an infant is important. An interest in the child's growth and development is essential.
Duties will include:
…. Providing infant care including: preparing and cleaning bottles, feeding and preparing basic meals, managing nap schedules, and occasionally doing bath time routine. While the baby sleeps, Nanny can tend to other tasks such as sanitizing bottles, pump parts, and baby’s dishes. Other duties include keeping changing stations and clothes organized, tidying up after the child, helping with child’s laundry, and possibly folding Family’s laundry.
About the baby:
The baby loves tummy time, reading books, and taking walks when it's warm enough to go outside! She is sweet and snuggly...a really easygoing baby. Parents try to structure her day so she doesn't get over tired or over stimulated, and that seems to work for her. The only other reason she's ever cranky is if she's gassy. She gets her gas drops between each feed for this reason. Otherwise, she's a happy girl!
About the family:
Both parents are fun-loving, kind, and caring parents and professionals. They are very hands-on parents who also manage demanding careers.
The dog is a small terrier/beagle mix. She's very sweet and friendly. Most times, parents will tend to the dog but might occasionally need Nanny to let the dog out 1-2 times a day (into fenced in-yard).
Benefits:
