Family in Warren is looking for a full-time and energetic nanny for their two children, ages 3 years and 20 months old. Family is open to live-out or live-in situation. Typical daily schedule will be Monday through Friday in two shifts- from 7:00 am until 12:00 pm and again from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Additional optional hours on Sunday mornings from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm, and the second shift on Friday is also optional.
Duties will include:
Providing a free-flowing, energetic learning atmosphere. Doing children’s laundry, basic tidying up after children, and preparing food for them. As the children get older, the ideal nanny will create and implement a rich educational curriculum. Nanny must be willing to learn baby sign language.
Ideal caregiver:
Ideal caregiver is energetic, active, happy, creative, engaging, and loves the outdoors. She is clean, organized, helpful, and takes initiative. Looking for caregiver who is very patient and friendly; ideally someone who is young or young at heart and very energetic. This is a big “sports family” with a high activity and energy level. Looking for someone who can match that energy and engage the children by teaching them skills and organizing creative outdoor play. Not looking for someone to just “watch” them.
About the children:
Both love the outdoors, cars, music, art, and play time. They're both extremely active and thrive when routine is maintained. Even at their young age, they love soccer and baseball.
About the home:
Family is looking for someone who wants to be a part of this tight-knit family. Dad is a fun jokester who loves sports. He challenges the children educationally by constantly teaching and expanding their knowledge base. Mother is creative and artistic. Both parents love engaging, interacting, and allowing the children to explore every possibility on the horizon. Both are open- minded, clean, and organized.
During the rest of the summer, the children are not expected to socialize outside of the home. The family will be keeping a very clean home.
