In-person interview protocol:

  • Please arrive wearing a mask.

  • If you do not have a mask, please inform the office the day before so that we can secure an extra one for you.

  • Hand sanitizer will be readily available!

  • Gloves are not required but are appreciated.

  • Lastly, while we want to show you the utmost respect and professionalism, we will refrain from hand shaking and any other physical contact.

Zoom interview protocol and rules:

  • Please start the connection process 10 minutes prior to your appointment time.

  • Please call the office 5 minutes prior to your appointment time.

  • You are not allowed to film, record, or screen shot the interviewer at any time.

  • Please dress appropriately from the waist up, as a photo will be taken of you for your profile.  If you prefer, you may request to send in a photo of yourself (to be approved by the agency) along with the rest of your
    paperwork.

  • During the time of the appointment, you must have the following items ready to hold up and show the interviewer if needed:

    • Photo identifications (we prefer two forms-- license, passport, green card, etc.)

  • If you have questions about your paperwork, you may either contact the agency for an immediate response via phone or email. 

 

Set-up suggestions for ZooM interview:

●    A light or window behind the camera will provide the best lighting.

●     If you are sitting back from the
phone or laptop, speak loudly.

Cancelling or rescheduling the interview:

The Nanny Smith prides itself on providing nannies who consistently demonstrate professionalism, respect, and good character.  This begins the moment you first contact us.  Kindly give at least 24 hours' notice if you are unable to keep your interview appointment or if you would like to like to change the type of interview (please be aware this may delay the hiring process).
